40 day Meditation for Habituation 6 week class

It takes fourty day's to break a habit, but you must replace that habit with a healthier habit.  This 6 week class will give you the tools and group support to change that area in your life that you have identified as a problem for yourself.
We will be using the oldest form of yoga to transform your habit, Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Here is a breakdown of the class.
Orientation meeting on the Fall Equinox Full Moon!!!  Thursday Sept. 23rd 630pm-8pm.  This meeting will be at my house (2524 Vine Place, 80304) so plse feel free to bring your kids if you need to.  We have a beauitful backyard and they are welcomed to jump on the trampoline, play in the garden or relax in the hammock.
I will explain the 6 week class in detail, we will practice a special meditation to be done on the full moon on "intention" and Gong relaxation.  From this point on all meetings will be at Vida Yoga studio in Nobo (next to Abos's Pizza), 630-8pm.
Week 1, Sunday Sept 26th.
Teach the 40 day meditation you will all be practicing at home (this will be day one or your fourty day meditation).  Kundalini yoga/Gong and meditation for habituation.  Study the first Yama, Ahimsa
Week 2, Sunday Oct. 3rd.
Kundalini yoga/Gong and meditation for habituation.  Study the Yamas, Satya and Asteya.
Week 3, Sunday Oct 10th.
Kundalini yoga/Gong and meditation for habituation.  Study the Yamas, Aparigraha and Brahmacharya.
Week 4, Sunday Oct. 17th
Kundalini yoga/Gong and meditation for habituation.  Study the Niyamas, Shaucha and Santosha.
Week 5, Sunday Oct 24th
Kundalini yoga/Gong and meditation for habituation.  Study the Niyamas, Tapas and Svadhyaya.
Week 6, Sunday Oct 31st Boo!  Time for this class will be deceided in the first week of our meeting.  Should be an interesting time for all of you:)
Kundalini yoga/Gong and study the last Niyama Ishvara pranidhana!
The cost is $240.00 for all 7 meetings. Scholarships are available for those that need it.

  1. What an interesting journey already! Very different from other meditation-commitment practices I've done. Thank you Trista for being such an amazing vessel to share Yogi Bhajan's Kundalini with us. And many Thanks to everyone in the group- so powerful to know we're all meditating together, daily! I've been having a re-occurrence of nightmares Sun nite and last nite- basically about my perceived inadequacy. Hmm, negativity being shed as I sleep? Sat nam, Lisa Fierer
